Sow Direct:Sow outdoors after danger of frost, sow seeds 1/2" deep with 1-2" between plants and 4-6' between rows in fertile, warm soil after danger of frost has passed. Keep evenly moist. If desired, you can offer trellis support so the plant can vine up with support. If left to roam, the plants will spread out wide on the ground so leave them plenty of room to wander.

Keep eyes on the vine while growing and pinch off any blossoms or smaller melons. This will redirect the energy from the vine to the biggest fruits
